IT PAYS TO SERVE GOD




It pays to do things right even in the face of
adversity, still do what is right and God will
vindicate you and bring you out. Don’t follow a
wrong example because of tough times. Ps
37:1-4 says “Fret not yourself because of
evildoers, neither be thou envious against the
workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut
down like the grass, and wither as the green
herb. Trust in the Lord and do good; so shalt
thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shall be
fed. Delight yourself also in the Lord; and he
shall give thee the desires of thine heart”.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 says Blessed is the man that
trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD
is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the
waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the
river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but
her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful
in the year of drought, neither shall cease from
yielding fruit”
Some people today are leaving their lives
independent of their creator, they think they can
make it without God but I still hear God say
“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in
vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain”. The new
wave of dependency on self is breaking up
homes and scattering the destiny of children
because of individualism. No you are meant for
connection. You were wired to be inter-
independent and to be connected to your divine
source. Crisis begins from when we want to walk
out of God’s original master plan for our lives.
You are meant for fellowship with your creator
and relationship with your fellow brother.
Beloved, understand that it pays to serve God
and to do those things that are pleasing to the
Him. No matter the season of life that you are in,
choose to serve God and remain connected to
Him and to your fellow brother. Don’t ever envy
the wicked and don’t follow them because the
wicked will be cut down as grass, Pursue God
and He will give you a beautiful future. I declare
to you today that you are blessed and not
cursed, you are the beloved and not forsaken,
your future is bright and your tomorrow is
colourful. You will fulfill destiny in Jesus name.

IN GOD'S EYES, YOU ARE ENOUGH

With God, all things are possible. Our confidence is found in Luke 21 vs 23: “ Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away”. Since we also know that God is not a man that tells lies, we should remain steadfast and keep faith alive. Keeping faith alive does not mean that one should begin to look like one that is mourning. On the contrary, keeping faith alive should make one radiate joy. It should mean that people will see the glory of God in your life. It also means taking time to study the word of God, pray and fast. All of these are not done to impress any human being but to bring you closer to the God of man with whom nothing is impossible.
