SERVICE AND COMMITMENT

WHAT IS SERVICE
Service is the act of providing for somebody with the things he/she needs. There are many definition of service, but the above is based on the area we want to look at.
For you to be rendering service to somebody, that person must be your master. Even if we render service to somebody below us, it must be because of the master above that you render such service.
           On earth we have two masters: God and Satan,  among the two, you can only serve one at once, you can't serve the two. God will allow you to make choice whether to serve him or not, but Satan will force himself you, and if you are not conscious, you may fall prey to his tricks. Some people who think that they are serving God are not, they are winning more souls yo devil, ensuring that many people miss the good things that comes from God the father. How do you serve God? 
By the way we interact with fellow man, by the things we say or think, by what we hear,  since you got baptised how many people have you converted, how do thingsee the person you are better than in some area, how do people react towards the clothes you put on, do you wear sexaually provocative attire. Go into yourself and answer those questions above. From the answer, who do you serve? God or Satan? 
  COMMITMENT
According to Oxford dictionary, commitment is the willingness to give your time and energy  to a job or activity. Ask yourself, do you give God your time and energy?  When you check the statistics of your activities in a day, which one get the highest mark, is it the good things you have done or the bad thins? How many minutes do you give to God per day? How many have you helped since this month? How many people have you told the good news of God or do you feel shy? Do follow the Church activities or do you see it as a waste of time and energy. Saint Paul was so committed to the work of God, Abraham, Noah, Moses, Joshua, David, etc. Ask yourself, am I in the same line with these people, am I committed like them. All of them experienced victory here on earth and now, they are enjoying eternal rest in bossom of God. Chaplain 2 of university of Nigeria Nsukka Rev Fr Vitus stated that blessed are those who are committed for they shall get what they  inspired for.  Note this being committed means to die for others to live. You sacrifice the most important thing in your life to rescue other, using your time and energy to ensure the success of people around you.

IN GOD'S EYES, YOU ARE ENOUGH

With God, all things are possible. Our confidence is found in Luke 21 vs 23: “ Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away”. Since we also know that God is not a man that tells lies, we should remain steadfast and keep faith alive. Keeping faith alive does not mean that one should begin to look like one that is mourning. On the contrary, keeping faith alive should make one radiate joy. It should mean that people will see the glory of God in your life. It also means taking time to study the word of God, pray and fast. YOU ARE SO IMPORTANT TO HIM
