HE/SHE DESERVES MY LOVE

                       EPHESIANS (5:21-33) 
    Paul was advising the people of Ephesus to know there responsibilities in the family. To the wives he adviced to subject to your husband as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church. Paul didn't just wake up one day and began to write this, he must had a reason for writing this message, he must have seen that some wives in Ephesus are no more doing their responsibilities in the family, and that is why he wrote this letter to them. Ask yourself, am I like the people of Ephesus? You as a wife do you compete with your husband or do you accept the fact that he is the head of of the family. Some women don't respect their husband any more because they earn more than him. The Bible say that wives should be respectful to their husbands and not to put them under. You married him out of love, keep on loving him, if you think that your husband is no more up to your standard, then it's your duty as a wife to put him to the level you want, don't insult him. If you want to go shopping, go with him, give him the money that you want to use for shopping and go along with him, make him understand that you love him. If you take care of that man, if you show him love, he won't think of cheating on you, he will always want to come home and be with you. If your husband is seeing another woman, then you have to think twice, because you may be the cause. 
       Saint Paul also cautioned the husbands to love there wives as Christ loved the Church and gave himself for her. It is a must that you love your wife, you must love her, because that woman rejected every other men that proposed to her just to marry you, she rejected everything Just to be with you, she dropped her father's name, she left his father, mother brothers, sisters and relatives just because of the love she has for you. She accepted to take the pain of child bearing, and those children will end up answering your own name, none will answer her name. Her name dies with her, but your own name lives on because of the sacrifice she made for you. You have to celebrate that woman, celebrate your wife, give her the best in you, she deserve every thing from you, respect her emotions, don't play with it. Do every thing that will make her happy because she is the reason of your existence, she is your bone and flesh. No other woman deserve your love, she is the one who is making the sacrifice therefore you must pay her back with love. He who loves his wife loves himself, for no man ever hates his own flesh, but nurishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the Church because we are members of his body. He or she deserves your love.

With God, all things are possible. Our confidence is found in Luke 21 vs 23: “ Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away”. Since we also know that God is not a man that tells lies, we should remain steadfast and keep faith alive. Keeping faith alive does not mean that one should begin to look like one that is mourning.
